Lviv provocateur Stakhiv to be tried for disclosing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Prosecutors have sent an indictment against 40-year-old Ostap Stakhiv to the court. He is accused of spreading information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and fraud.

This is reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The investigation established that in January 2024, Stakhiv, during a live broadcast, spread information about the location of the personnel of one of the CCC departments in the Rivne region, indicating data that could have helped identify the military on the ground.

He published a video recording of this broadcast on his Facebook and Telegram pages.

He is also accused of fraud. He organized «intensive courses» in journalism and human rights, promising participants a journalist's certificate from a defunct media outlet. The cost of the courses was 7,000 UAH. However, the newspaper was not registered, and the certificates received had no legal force.
