The dictator of Belarus during a meeting with propagandists in the Kremlin said that he did not see the need to “engage in hostilities” against Ukraine, and complained about the "barricaded" border, reports the BELTA news agency.

When asked about assessing the likelihood that “Belarus will have to engage in hostilities,” Lukashenko said that “there is no such need.” and it won’t be.

"I don’t deny that we are “co-aggressors.” Everyone does their own thing. But I say straight out: neither I nor Putin – We also discussed this problem yesterday – We don’t want our brotherly Ukrainian people to suffer,” – he added.

Further, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus complained that even a hypothetical entry into the war against Ukraine “wouldn’t have given anything.”

"Because their border with Belarus is barricaded like that that you can't go there. It is completely mined, concreted and there are 120 thousand Ukrainian troops on this border. Well, they want to throw them there at the front against Russia, and then put the French here. We are waiting", – said Lukashenko.
