Lockheed Martin will test the latest missile to destroy naval drones and UAVs in 2025

The American defense company Lockheed Martin is going to test the naval version of the new “air” class missile &mdash ; land» AGM-179 Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) next year. According to Breaking Defense, the new JAGM ship-based missile for medium and large surface ships is designed to combat naval drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). 114R Hellfire with multi-mode guidance systems, including a millimeter-range radar and a function to detect moving targets. The range of JAGM is eight kilometers.

It is planned that the new missile launchers and JAGM will be equipped with ships that the American military will send to the Middle East.
