This Wednesday the Mexican actress Eiza González has attended the Jimmy Kimmel program to promote her new movie I Care A Lot and has revealed that, since her last visit to that same space eleven months ago, she has been living with her mother Glenda Reyna , who had traveled to Hollywood to accompany her and was trapped there due to mobility restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic.
"She came with a small carry-on bag because she was only going to spend four days here for a premiere and ended up staying seven months during the pandemic, which was crazy. Living with your mother again at 30 is not the best idea, ”she revealed.
The funniest thing about the whole experience was seeing how the roles were exchanged and Eiza became the adult in charge of establishing norms and imparting discipline : “Now she is the one who lives under my roof and it's great because there is a change in the power dynamic. I used to tell him all the time: 'You can't go out, you're part of the risk group as an elderly person.' And she complained that she felt like a child. Well, she also treated me like that for fifteen years. ”
On the other hand, Eiza became independent when she was still very young and is not used to explaining to anyone. His intention was to continue leading a relatively normal life, including in the love field, despite the presence of his new 'partner', but suddenly he found himself sneaking out to go on dates without his mother seeing her.
"I was wondering who I was meeting, if those people were taking precautions with Covid-19 … They were a lot of questions. And I replied: ' It's my house, mom, I can do whatever I want,' "joked the actress, who also admits that now that Glenda has returned to Mexico, she misses her a lot.
During the interview , Eiza also went into detail and told the television host about the accident she suffered while riding a bicycle that went viral on social media earlier this month.
“I was just enjoying a nice bike ride, I swear I know how riding a bike, I promise, I've done this before. I do more difficult things (…) even if it doesn't seem like I can do it very well, "said the actress with a humorous tone.
" I was enjoying the afternoon with my best friend Dave and he thought: 'It seems that Eiza is having a good time' , so he started recording me. And then you can see that I realized that he was filming me, so I wanted to look flirty and I started modeling with a very cute little hat that I was wearing and then I realized that I took it down a lot. So I couldn't see the road. ”Continued Eiza.
The Baby Driver star took the incident very lightly and it is that, from the first moment, she showed that she has the ability to make fun of herself and shared the incident with her millions of followers on Instagram.
"Because I'm free … Free fall. It's your 'Oh no' for me, David Appelton ”, wrote the actress next to the clip of the fall. In the publication, Eiza was referring to the memes that have been viralized on TikTok and Instagram with the song “Oh, no”, videos in which the first seconds are idyllic or funny, but they end in an unexpected way and, frequently, unfortunate.
“It's the bike's fault, not your riding style,” commented world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic. The video caused the reactions of other famous personalities, such as Hailee Steinfield, Justin Long and Lamorne Morris.
