Sadio Mané was made official as Bayern Munich's new signing until June 2025. In this way, the Senegalese player leaves Liverpool after six seasons in the who won the hearts of fans with his 120 goals and 38 assists in 269 games.

Although he will no longer be in the locker room, Sadio Mané stressed that he will always root for his former team. “After each of my games in Munich I will come to the locker room and watch Liverpool, for sure, because I will be the number 1 fan (of the English club) forever”, he declared for the official website of the ' Reds'.

“I just want to wish them good luck and keep an eye on them. And for sure they will be even better because I know the guys: great players, talent, maturity and attitude”, he added.

The footballer is focused on raising new titles. “I'm so glad to finally be here. We had many conversations and from the beginning I felt the great interest of this great club. So I had no doubts from the beginning: this is the right time for this challenge”, he mentioned in a press conference.

“I want to achieve many things with this club, also internationally. Even during my stay in Salzburg, I followed many FC Bayern matches. I really like this team!” added the 30-year-old.
