Lithuania will transfer kamikaze drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Lithuania to donate kamikaze drones to Ukrainian Armed Forces

Lithuania will hand over to Ukraine Warmate kamikaze drones purchased as part of the Legion Of Boom initiative. This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Petr Beshta during  briefing.

They will enter the Armed Forces of Ukraine already in October-November of this year. 

We all remember the first Lithuanian marathon to raise funds for Bayraktar in May. Also (journalist – ed.) Andrius In August, Tapinas held a marathon for the purchase of kamikaze drones for Ukraine. This project is being implemented. We expect that these kamikaze drones will be in the Ukrainian army sometime in October-November.

According to the Ambassador, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Lithuania has provided about 120 million euros in military assistance to Ukraine.

This is about 2% of the GDP of the Republic of Lithuania, in addition to The population of the country itself is also actively involved in helping out.

Beshta added that Vilnius continues and will continue training for the Ukrainian military.
