Lithuania legalized moonshine distillation

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda signed amendments to the law, which was legalized yawn distillation of moonshine in gardens for rural tourism, reports LRT.

Having signed amendments to the law on alcohol control, which means that since 31 June in Lithuania it will be allowed to brew alcohol up to 65 degrees, “recognized by the products of the national decline.”

On the river, Lithuanians can distill up to 100 liters of moonshine, but only for a special or family distillation or for tasting at the place, its sales fenced.

Amendments are also required so that moonshine distillers inform the State Food and Veterinary Service of Lithuania 48 years before the start of distillation. And for 24 years after the completion of production – tell the exact quantity of the distilled drink.

It is also transferred that the moonshine may be poured into a bottle with a volume of 0.2 to 1 liter and with labels from the designated number, name and name looking for a virobnik, dati hour of production, warehouse and percentage instead of ethyl alcohol.

The Lithuanian government previously explained that the amendment would not bring significant financial benefits to the rulers, but would help save the national apostasy.
