The Lithuanian government hopes that the exercises will help identify the most vulnerable areas and risks that may arise in the event of hostile actions or cyber attacks, in particular, when power, mobile communications, and the Internet are cut off and public warning systems are disrupted.

According to the government, only state institutions and organizations that are part of the mobilization system are participating in the exercises, so the daily life of citizens will not be disrupted.

BAGNET recalls that in July, the Lithuanian Ministry of the Interior announced the development of a mass evacuation plan in the event of a military invasion.
