Lewandowski set up Poland's 2-0 qualifying win over the Faroe Islands

Prague – Polish footballers beat the Faroe Islands 2-0 at home in a European Championship qualifier thanks to two goals Captain Robert Lewandowski. Portuguese coach Fernando Santos' men in Group E, after four rounds from third place, lose two points to the leader Czech Republic and one point to the second Albania. Hungary, which will host the Czech national team in Sunday's warm-up, won 2:1 in Serbia in the battle for first place in Group G. In Belgrade, Attila Szalai scored an own goal in the 10th minute, but the visitors turned the score around before the break after goals from Barnabas Varga and Orbán. The Hungarians maintained their invincibility in the qualification and created a three-point lead over the Serbs.
The Netherlands won 3:0 at home over Greece, in the “B” group they caught up with today's opponent and jumped to second place behind France. The hosts decided the match in Eindhoven already in the opening act, when De Roon, Gakpo and Weghorst scored.
