The publication held a vote among its sports observers and journalists, trying to collect the so-called “Dream Team”, which will represent the best players in their position in the history of the ball game. So, among the contenders for the title of the best goalkeeper in history, the names of Lev Yashin, Dino Zoff, Gigi Buffon, Gordon Banks, Iker Casillas, Edwin van der Sar, Peter Schmeichel and others are named.
The publication promises to publish the full lists of nominees for the title of the best player in the history of football for each position by the end of October 2020. Subsequently, a vote will be held among experts, the results of which are planned to be announced in December.
