47% of educational institutions across Ukraine are provided shelter.

Accordingly, these schools will be able to start learning offline from September 1, UNN was told in response to a request from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

More than 23.5 thousand objects of educational institutions have been audited for security as of August 19, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. Of these, more than 11 thousand are provided with shelter for participants in the educational process.

According to the recommendations of the State Emergency Service (SSES), the shelter should be located in the main building of the educational institution or in close proximity (up to 100 meters). It must be provided with electricity, artificial lighting, plumbing and sewage systems.

In addition, one of the requirements is to comply with the rule of at least a meter per person. The shelter should also have places to sit (lying down), containers with drinking water, food containers, first aid equipment and means of communication and notification (telephone, radio, Internet).

The Minister of Education and science Sergey Shkarlet presented four models of education in schools during the war.

They are based on four possible locations for students. The educational process is recommended to be carried out in one of the following forms: full-time form, distance form, family (home) form of education, mixed form of education and external study.
