Russian singer Grigory Leps expressed a desire to buy the hits of the late Yuri Shatunov.
According to Leps, he is ready to pay big money for the famous song "White roses.”
“I would give a colossal amount of money now, just to get it. I myself would not be able to sing such a work due to a number of circumstances. Firstly, age, and secondly, it will be strange if I sing in the same manner. But the idea to buy the works performed by the late Yura Shatunov is not without meaning,” Leps said.
According to MK, the singer noted that he would like Shatunov's songs “to be in his piggy bank.”
“Perhaps there will be a young performer who will interpret it in his own way, and the song can find a new life,” Leps emphasized.
