Lenovo is releasing a new tablet with 8 speakers

Lenovo has officially launched its Tab Plus in the United States, making it widely available to consumers via the company's online store. This comes after a limited release of the tablet in select international markets, including the European Union.  Lenovo Tab Plus for $320 offers a decent package of features, the highlight of which is exceptional sound quality.

Powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, the Tab Plus delivers acceptable system performance, though it's not the most impressive we've seen. What stands out here is the audio system with 8 speakers.  To accommodate those speakers, the tablet is a bit chunky, especially on the bottom half, where it's about 0.5 inches thick, while the top half is 0.3 inches thinner.

Lenovo has included a built-in kickstand that lets you rest tablet at an angle of up to 175 degrees. You can also use the Lenovo Tab Plus as a Bluetooth speaker, playing audio from other devices in addition to your own.

On the front, you'll get an 11.5-inch, 2000×1200 pixel, 90Hz IPS display. There's also optional stylus support so you can use it as a productivity machine when you need it.

Memory options include 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The tablet is powered by an 8,600mAh battery and features 8MP front and rear cameras. 

It supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2, and has a USB 2.0 Type-C port for charging and data transfer. , a microSD card slot for memory expansion and a 3.5 mm audio jack for wired audio. The tablet supports 24-bit 96kHz audio via the headphone jack.

Lenovo Tab Plus comes with Android 14 and the company promises at least two major OS updates and four years of security updates, with the last scheduled for June 2028. Lenovo also offers optional accessories such as the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and a 68-watt USB-C charger.
