Twenty-one-year-old Lehečka won the first set without any problems, but in the end he did not reach the third semifinal in his career. He entered the second set with a lost serve, and the twenty-two-year-old Arnaldi kept the offered advantage and equalized.

In the third set, the score was tied at 3:3. But then Lehečka lost his submission and was unable to return to the match. The best Czech tennis player was able to save the first match point, but Arnaldi already converted the second.

Leheček thus missed the chance to advance to the semifinals on the ATP circuit for the third time in his career. He reached the top four in Doha this year and in Rotterdam last year. The 33rd player in the world ranking is currently waiting to participate in the final.
