The leader of the Carroccio in Florence – Alessio Di Giulio – has posted a video on his Facebook page that has caused a lot of controversy. Di Giulio films a Roma woman walking the streets of the Tuscan capital as she says: “Vote Lega to never see her again”. Slogan that he also reported in the caption of the video published on social media, except to change it a few hours later by enriching it with the legal definition of the crime of 'harassing begging'. But, as many on social media point out, the woman was walking down the street at the time of filming, so she wasn't committing any infractions. The short video has been relaunched several times on social media after being defined as racist and discriminatory.
