LeBron James is the all-time leading scorer in NBA history

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James set a new National Basketball Association (NBA) record for career points, surpassing Abdul-Jabbar's record, Reuters reports.
The 38-year-old American surpassed the record of the former Lakers forward Abdul-Jabbara (38387 points) in a home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. James now has 38,390 points for his NBA career. It is worth noting that due to James's possible record, ticket prices for this game reached $100,000.
Immediately after the record-breaking throw, the match was interrupted to pay tribute to the basketball player. During the pause, the athlete's family, league commissioner Adam Silver, and 75-year-old Abdul-Jabbar, who symbolically handed the basketball to LeBron, came out onto the parquet.
Despite James' record, “Los Angeles” ; lost in this match with a score of 130:133. LeBron became the most productive player of the meeting, gaining 38 points.
