Léa Seydoux joins the cast of Denis Villeneuve's Dune 2

French actress Léa Seydoux (“French Gazette”), is in talks with Warner Bros. and Legendary about participation in the second part of “Dune” Denis Villeneuve. She is up for the role of Lady Margo Fenrig. This is reported by Deadline, citing its own sources.

According to the books, Margot Fenrig is a Bene Gesserite and acts as the wife of Count Hasimir Fenrig, a representative of power on the planet Arrakis when House Harkonnen ruled there.

Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård and Zendaya will return to their roles in the sequel. Previously to the cast Christopher Walken and Austin Butler also joined.

“Dune 2 Premiere” scheduled for October 20, 2023. Filming of the sequel should start this summer.

As ProShoKino reported, the Chernobyl director will shoot two episodes of Dune: Sisterhood.
