Border guards together with National Police officers detained two Transcarpathians who were transporting men abroad. This reports "Zakarpattia Online".

"As part of the criminal proceedings opened based on the materials of operatives of the Mukachevo detachment under Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, border guards together with National Police officers detained two Transcarpathians who "specialized" on transporting men abroad", – the message reads.

During the search of the residence of one of the dealers, law enforcement officers discovered and detained 7 people of draft age who were waiting for an illegal move to Romania across the Tisza River. They were going to pay their “patrons” USD 4,000 each for an illegal “transfer”. Law enforcement officers are now investigating the circumstances of this criminal offense, which falls under Article 332, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – “Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine”.

The sanction of the article for such acts provides for imprisonment for a term of seven to nine years.

It is worth noting that border guards detain about 20 evaders per day. Most attempts to illegally cross the border through the green zone are recorded at the borders with Moldova and Romania, and through checkpoints — on the border with Poland. Andrii Demchenko, spokesman of the State Border Service of Ukraine, said this.
