Latvia deployed mobile PPO groups at the cordon after the fall of the “martyr”

Latvia fired up mobile combat groups of military-insurgent forces at the cordon through the fallen “shaheda” 7th Veresnya. They are equipped with PPO. Delfi reports about this.

After the Russian “Shahed” drone fell into the Rezekne region on the 7th spring, the National Armed Forces of Latvia strengthened the prototypes I will strengthen the defense at the rally cordon, sending additional troops there were encouraged.

So, the Minister of Defense of Latvia Andrij Spruds informed that mobile combat groups of military-insurgents are stationed in Latgale forces, equipped with PPO missiles, and special radars are installed on the cordon, designed to detect unmanned vehicles.

PPO operations will be supported by both military professional services and soldiers of the national defense service.

Earlier, BAGNET reported that Latvia would transfer CVR armored vehicles to Ukraine.
