Laptops with GeForce RTX 4050 and RTX 4060 will not be expensive even despite the presence of 2K screens and new processors
At least this will be the case in China
Next week sales of laptops with top Nvidia 3D cards will start – GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080, but models with simpler accelerators will have to wait. However, the seller in China hastened to announce the cost of the GeForce RTX 4050 and RTX 4060 models.
We can already say that at least in China such devices will not be expensive. Here is an example: a model with a Ryzen 7 7735H processor, GeForce RTX 4050 and 2K screen with a frame rate of 165Hz is priced at 6100 yuan – it's 900 dollars. A similar model with a GeForce RTX 4060 is 1,000 yuan more expensive (i.e., its price is – $ 1,050). For comparison, such a laptop with a GeForce RTX 3050 costs $770. That is, an additional payment for the GeForce RTX 4050 – approximately $130, for GeForce RTX 4060 – $280.
But you also need to consider that models with more powerful processors (whether it be Intel or AMD CPUs) will be more expensive.
