The Real Sociedad ran over Levante in Donosti. With David Silva as the connector of the entire Txuri-Urdin offensive gear, the Basque team generated a number of chances, but only one rose to the scoreboard. With luck on their backs, Imanol's group, who ruled the game unopposed, deserved a win, but Granota goal Dani Cárdenas and the lack of aim of his forwards painted a Pyrrhic 1-0. Unknown, the intrepid platoon of Paco López was not able to fight and capitulated early without looking out, as usual, to the opposite area. La Real has a month without losing with four wins and three draws.
The game ended very early. With legs full of lead due to the timing of the course, an eleven full of news, casualties and a dull head due to the elimination in the Copa del Rey at the hands of Athletic, Levante was not recognizable in San Sebastián.

Since Soto Grado whistled the start, a downpour fell on the granota block. With Silva throwing flashes on the grass in the offensive transitions and Merino, Januzaj and Oyarzabal winning duels, the Real broke the weak visitor resistance very early. Real's very fast offensive sequence led to the goal in just ten minutes. A stop by Cárdenas, a throw to the post by Merino and, immediately afterwards, the center of Oyarzabal from the left and the goal of Merino himself, who had started the action, infiltrating between the centrals without being detected.
Levante received a blow after punch without reacting, like a sounded boxer. Coke ran over Oyarzabal in the area and caused a penalty. The 10 txuri-urdin sent the shot wide to the left, missing his second consecutive maximum penalty after the one he missed at Old Trafford. Out of sheer rage, Oyarzabal tore his shirt off and had to wear another. The captain, except in that black moment, executed everything well.
In the middle of the local offensive, Duarte fell asleep when he received a ball as the last defender and Isak stood alone against Cárdenas, who won him one on one. Terrassa's goalkeeper got mad at his defense when minutes later he had to deflect a shot from Oyarzabal. Swept in the field, without stringing actions of merit and without arrivals with substance, Levante left, surprisingly, with only one goal against.
In the second half the local harassment was more scandalous. It opened with a Merino goal invalidated by an offside by Isak, who was on the ball's trajectory, and continued with Duarte deflecting two goals, with Cárdenas beaten. The Tico center-back first took a shot from Januzaj and then a splendid action from David Silva, who cut with the right and launched with the left after receiving a heel from Januzaj. Later, Son sent another ball off the line after a combination between Januzaj and David Silva.
Real Sociedad was an offensive gale without a prize and David Silva, an unstoppable generator of chances and play. With the canary, the Real flowed and the occasions followed one another. Zubimendi headed a corner and Cárdenas, the best Granota player, deflected the ball to the crossbar. Then the meta took another action from Isak. The last of the locals was for Portu, who in front of the goalkeeper threw a Vaseline that went out.
The game was closed with scare for the eleven of Imanol Alguacil. Bardhi crashed a ball into the crossbar, from a direct corner kick, in the only shot between the posts of the visitor's eleven. Levante got rid of a win, sustained in Cárdenas and in the blue and white bad fortune.
