Kyivstar warned Ukrainians about “undercover fraudsters” and informed how to protect themselves.

Kyivstar reported that cyber fraudsters are increasingly hacking accounts and from on behalf of acquaintances.

Kyivstar  reported this on its Facebook page.

“We tend to trust information more if we receive it from loved ones. That is why cyber fraudsters hack accounts and on behalf of acquaintances are spreading dangerous links. How to counteract this: Call a friend and make sure that the link is from him,” Kyivstar said.

Kyivstar added that you should be wary if messages about cash payments, promotions, sweepstakes , easy types of part-time work, important news or a loan.
