More than 18,000 patients have already been treated at Unbroken, and their stories are living proof that even in the most difficult times, the Ukrainian spirit remains unbreakable.
The release of the special issue of Reporters magazine “Unbroken” is not just a book with the stories of our patients and doctors, it is a testimony of the incredible strength and resilience of Ukrainians. For us at the Center, every day is a struggle for the life and recovery of people who suffered from the war. This book shows that even in the darkest times, humanity, mutual support and medicine can work miracles. The stories that you will read on the pages are an example for the whole country and the world that Ukrainians are able to win even when it seems that they have no strength, – emphasized Iryna Zaslavets, head of the UNBROKEN project.
The magazine also tells about the project “Those who keep in touch” – the stories of Kyivstar employees who continued to work in extremely difficult conditions, restoring communication in such cities as Mariupol, Balaklia and Kherson.
