Rapper Kurgan, whose real name is Zhenya Volodchenko, released his first solo song in three years. Its name is “Red Lilac”. Radio Maxim tells more about the singer's solo career.

This sad composition describes the realities of Russia's war against Ukraine.

Zhena Volodchenko's lyrics are what they love him for solo work: retrowave beats, multifaceted figurative lyrics, existential themes.

This song was difficult for me. For a very long time, it was not possible to find the words, for some reason all emotions were blocked to zero, and writing without emotions is the same as assembling a Lego constructor while you are away, which you are not interested in at all, says Kurgan.

The track is already you can listen on Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes. Kurgan also arranges solo concerts in three cities of Ukraine.
