KOZAK SIROMAHA, one of the brightest Ukrainian ethnic singers, together with lyre player Gordiy Starukh presented the album “VYTYNANKA”.

The album in the genre of folk music combines traditional Ukrainian instruments with improved folk motifs. You can listen to it on all music platforms.

The album uses such instruments as Hutsul cymbals, drimba, telinka, ligava, buhalo, tambourine, bassol, violin and many brass instruments.

We want the Ukrainian sound to be recognized all over the world. A lot of work has been done, a lot of talented people have been involved, and I am very grateful to everyone who joined. We were very pleased with the result, I hope you will be too, – comments on the KOZAK SIROMAHA album.

Director Lubomyr Levytsky highly appreciated the work, inviting the musicians to cooperate on future film projects. Hero of Ukraine Yevgeny Hromadskyi noted that he added several tracks from the album to his playlist.

This is a unique journey through Ukraine with instruments, melodies and songs inherent in its various corners. But this is not pure folk music. Stylistically, this is world music – here we often mix our folk with elements inherent in Balkan, Irish or Indian music. This is our interpretation, reinterpretation of folk, folk instruments and their interaction with the rest of the world, – Gordiy Starukh about “Vytynanka”.
