A 38-year-old Kharkiv resident who publicly supported Russians on «Odnoklassniki» will stand trial.
This is reported by «Slobodskyi krai» with reference to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation established that a 38-year-old unemployed resident of Kharkiv consciously decided to support Russia after the start of the full-scale invasion. To do this, he chose the banned social network «Odnoklassniki» in Ukraine, where he systematically distributed pro-Russian posts.
The reposts contained materials in support of the Russian military and «L/DNR». This was also due to the fact that the defendant was born in Luhansk Oblast and did not hide the fact that he supports the occupation of his native region. In addition, the defendant distributed materials about «the majesty of Russia and its president».
The man will be tried in the Frunzensky District Court, and he faces up to eight years in prison.
