In September, Kazakhstan fully complied with the obligations of OPEC +, the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the republic told Interfax-Kazakhstan. “In September 2020, according to preliminary data, the average daily oil production, excluding condensate, amounted to 1.349 million barrels per day. According to the ministry's estimates, Kazakhstan has fully fulfilled its obligations for September under the OPEC + Agreement,” the agency said in response to the request.
“With regard to compensation for overproduction of oil, the countries participating in the agreement decided to extend the compensation period until the end of this year,” the ministry added.
In August, Kazakhstan also fulfilled its obligations to OPEC +. Last month, the average daily oil production in the republic amounted to about 1.345 million barrels per day.
