Kazakhstan denied information about the sale of weapons to London for deliveries to Ukraine

Kazakhstan denied the information that appeared in social networks about the purchase of military equipment by the republic for deliveries to Ukraine. This was reported by the  stopfake.kz portal, which was created with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the country.

It is noted that the transaction is allegedly carried out through the mediation of the Technoexport company, and the contract for the amount of  $46 million was concluded on July 16, 2022.

"In 2021 and for the past period of 2022 the Technoexport" did not apply to the ministry for a license to export arms, ammunition and military equipment. In addition, during the specified period, the ministry licensed  exports to the UK of arms, ammunition and military equipment <…> were not issued",

EarlierBAGNETreported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the receipt of the first M270 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) from the UK. The head of the department, Alexei Reznikov, clarified that three M270 MLRS have already been delivered to the country and more will come. He expressed the hope that Ukraine will receive missiles with a range of 300 km from partners.
