We finally have news about Jurassic World 4. The next installment of the license has just revealed its first logo, its official title and some new images with Scarlett Johansson. Heavy stuff in store!
Jurassic World: huge success for Universal
In 2015, Universal decided to relaunch the Jurassic Park saga in theaters. More than ten years after Jurassic Park III, dinosaurs are back on the big screens in a new trilogy: Jurassic World. The first part, directed by Colin Trevorrow, is a box office triumph. The feature film brings in more than $1.6 billion at the box office. Unfortunately, the reviews are mixed. Universal then decides to hire Juan Antonio Bayona for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018). Even today, this second part is the darkest and most successful opus of the trilogy. box office, it is still a success since the blockbuster brings in more than 1.3 billion dollars in revenue.
Unfortunately, the trilogy collapses in 2022 with Jurassic World: The World After. Colin Trevorrow is back to direct this third film. A third part totally panned by professional critics and fans, which still brings in 1 billion dollars at the box office. Faced with these financial successes, it is hard to see how Universal could stop there. The studio has therefore made official a new film, directed by Gareth Edwards.
Jurassic world 4 takes shape
Gareth Edwards, who directed some great contemporary science fiction films like Monsters (2010), Godzilla (2014), Rogue One (2016) and the recent The Creator (2023), has therefore inherited the dinosaur license. It will therefore stage a whole new part of the franchise, with new characters. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard therefore leave their place to a very enticing new cast, notably led by Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Rupert Friend.
Recently, Universal has just revealed the official title of this fourth part, a first logo and unpublished images of Scarlett Johansson. Officially, Jurassic World 4 will therefore be called Jurassic World Rebirth. A short teaser was released. diffused on the X Jurassic World account to reveal to fans the new logo of the saga:

In addition to these two already juicy news, we have the very first glimpse of the talented Scarlett Johansson in her brand new saga. A first synopsis has also been shared:
Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those that remain live in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling those in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures within this tropical biosphere hold the key to creating a miracle drug that could save humanity.
Scarlett Johansson will play Zora Bennett, a covert operations expert, hired to lead an intervention team to recover the DNA of these three giants. The operation will cross paths with a civilian family stranded on an island because of some marauding marine dinosaurs. All these beautiful little people then find themselves trapped on an island populated by dinosaurs.
The release of this Jurassic World Rebirth is expected on July 2, 2025 in French theaters. In the meantime, we leave you with the first glimpses of this 7th installment of the license.
