Journalists who accompanied Biden on a trip to Delaware captured the moment the president fell off his bike
Immediately after that, the president took a few minutes talked to people who had gathered to watch him ride a bike.
The head of the White House and First Lady Jill Biden were finishing their morning bike ride near Gordons Pond on the Delaware coast. The previous Friday, they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.
The White House said that the head of state did not need medical attention.
“The President said that his foot caught on the pedal while dismounting , and he's fine,” said a White House spokesman who wished to remain anonymous. “The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family.”
