Jerzy Połomski spent the last months of his life in the Home of Veteran Artists of Polish Stages in Skolimów. As he himself admitted, he decided to take this step because he had no one to take care of him in the autumn of his life. In the nursing home, he did not have to worry about anything.
For most of his life, Jerzy Połomski guarded his privacy quite closely. He neither denied nor confirmed information that reached the public about him. Among the many rumors, there were also those about Połomski's orientation. „Jerzy did not tolerate indiscreet questions. I wouldn't dare ask him about his relationship or orientation,” Maria Szabłowska revealed.
And although Połomski and Szbłowska were friends, the journalist admitted that even for her he was a very „mysterious man”.
He never got involved with anyone
Jerzy Połomski did not hide the fact that he never opened himself up to a relationship or marriage. He joked in an interview with „Super Express” that the reason was the fact that „he values a life without stress”. He added that he values freedom very much.
„The storms of passion bypassed me and it doesn't matter what people think, what they suspect me of. I am not thrilled with colleagues who sell their privacy, but I also justify them: they want to brag about their beautiful wife, children” – he added.
Now the media has reported that the actor had a partner. The author of the video blog „Historia z Koprem” maintains that his friend knows Połomski's „life partner”. He is supposed to still be alive. He also revealed that he is an actor.
