Jerzy Owsiak posted a shocking post on social media. "If I live to see tomorrow"

As reported by the “Goniec” portal, Jerzy Owsiak decided to share with his supporters the threats he receives. The conductor of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity admitted that he regularly receives threats to take his life. They are sent to him not only electronically, but also by phone. Owsiak does not hide the fact that the situation is difficult. He also points out who is responsible for it.

WOŚP has been helping for 32 years

WOŚP played for the first time in 1993. Over the years of its operation, the foundation has raised 2.3 billion złoty. With the money raised, the foundation buys equipment that is sent to hospital wards throughout Poland. There are few people who have not come across equipment with the red WOŚP heart at least once.

The 33rd WOŚP finale, scheduled for January 26, is ahead of us. The money raised in this year's campaign will help purchase equipment that will go to oncology and hematology wards for children.

Jerzy Owsiak has been attacked for his activities for a long time. Among other things, there are accusations of a lack of transparency, which WOŚP tries to refute by showing evidence that contradicts them. Recently, Owsiak was attacked in connection with helping flood victims. It turns out that such accusations are not the only thing the WOŚP conductor is dealing with.

Jerzy Owsiak receives threats

On Tuesday, January 7, Jerzy Owsiak posted an extensive entry on social media, in which he admitted that he regularly receives threats. In the post, he quoted a fragment of one of the telephone conversations.

“We have to shoot him, he's a f**k” – Owsiak heard from the caller. He admitted that recently he has been receiving similar threats regularly, which worries him more and more.

Owsiak recalled what happened to the mayor of Gdańsk, Paweł Adamowicz, who was stabbed and died from his injuries. He also pointed out that the right-wing media have their share of credit for the growing number of games.

“Very specific threats, with a bomb in the background and the disposal of my person. The incitement by Telewizja Republika and wPolsce24 is similar to the manipulation and incitement directed at the Mayor of Gdańsk, Mr. Paweł Adamowicz, and we know how that ended,” wrote Owsiak.

The head of WOŚP assured that the finale is not at risk, and the orchestra will play and collect money for medical equipment. The services have taken up the matter of threats directed at Owsiak.
