Jerzy Owsiak made a public declaration regarding TV Republika. The station responded.
As the portal „Goniec&rdqu; reminds, for several days TV Republika has been attacking Jerzy Owsiak. The conductor of WOŚP emphasized at Monday's press conference summarizing Sunday's finale that in the future he will not cooperate with companies that will advertise on Sakiewicz's television. The station did not pass these words without a response.
Jerzy Owsiak did not spare strong words
At Monday's press conference summarizing Sunday's finale, Jerzy Owsiak emphasized that this year's finale was „crazy” and „beautiful”. The conductor of WOŚP also touched on the subject of TV Republika, which systematically attacks Owsiak and his charity campaign.
Jerzy Owsiak emphasized that he does not intend to cooperate in the future with companies that will advertise on TV Republika. He also added that Tomasz Sakiewicz's station did not broadcast a commercial by one of the advertisers, which referred to the 33rd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
„I declare that if any company wants to cooperate with us and wants to advertise on that television, it must choose. We will not cooperate with you if you advertise on Telewizja Republika, which is anti-oncological, anti-hematological, anti-human at times– said Owsiak, quoted by „Goniec”.
TV Republika responds to Owsiak
Jurek Owsiak accused Republika of inspiring people to hate and games he has been receiving recently. He added that his declaration applies to everyone, including those companies whose cooperation with WOŚP has been going well and for many years.
The station responded to Jerzy Owsiak's words. Danuta Holecka accused Owsiak in the “Dzisiaj” program of not only “calling for a boycott of Republika”, but also “spreading lies about them”. Holecka also called the station where she irons a “free speech zone”.
Holecka also responded to allegations about the lack of broadcasting of an ad for a company cooperating with WOŚP. She stated that the cause was technical problems, and the ad itself had no connection with the activities of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
