Ukrainian singer Jerry Heil has released a new track that draws attention to the problem of the kidnapping of Ukrainian children by the Russian Federation.
The premiere of the song took place on YouTube- singer's channel.
This song-dialogue between mother and child, which “helps find the way to those who love and wait”. Together with the track, a social video was created to draw attention to the children who have yet to be returned from the territory of the Russian Federation. The composition is recorded in English and Ukrainian.
I want this track to become the voice of every child who dreams of returning home. And so that everyone who hears it will feel this pain, but also the hope that one day all these children will find themselves in the arms of their relatives again – Jerry Heil commented on the new song in the description under the video.
The main character the video was 14-year-old Kira from Mariupol. During one of the shellings of the city, her father was killed, and when the girl tried to escape from the city, she was blown up on a stretcher. Then she was kidnapped by the Russian military and taken to Donetsk. Kira managed to be returned to Ukraine and she has already undergone treatment at the “Okhmatdyt” children's hospital.
Now they have also launched a campaign on social networks and are asking to share on their pages the stories of children who have not yet been returned to Ukraine, with the hashtag #AllEyesOnKids.
