JEE of Lima Centro declares APP lists inadmissible and Avanza País for Lima

The Special Electoral Jury (JEE) of Central Lima declared the Alliance for Progress (APP) and Avanza País lists inadmissible for the Municipality of Lima, ahead of the Regional and Municipal Elections 2022.

First, by means of Resolution No. 08381-2022-JEE-LICN/JNE, the the registration of the list of Avanza País because its candidate for Mayor of Lima, Luis Molina, presented his application for a license without having without the digital signature of the legal representative, as well as the affidavit.

Likewise, all the candidates for councilors of said group They also present observations, such as incomplete affidavits, lack of the signature of the legal representative, charge of the license application without credit, among others.

Therefore, the request for registration of the list of candidates of Avanza País was declared inadmissible and the legal representative of the party was notified of the decision and the resolution was published in the institutional electronic portal of the National Elections Jury (JNE) and in the panel of the JEE of Lima Centro.

In the case of APP, it was found that the registration request form for the list of candidates for aldermen numbers 13 and 33, generated through the Declara system, does not coincide with the internal election act presented by said political organization.

Similarly, council candidates No. 1, 2, 10, 12, 13, 14, 27, 34, 35, 37 and 38 are not affiliated with the party. The applicants for alderman 26 and 27 also work in state entities, so they must present their respective license without having been paid.

The JEE of Lima Centro reported that the candidates for alderman 3, 4, 11, 12, 15, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 28, 30, 32, 33, 36 and 38 do not prove at least two years of residence in the province of Lima, among other observations.

For this reason, the application for the registration of the list of candidates for the Municipality of Lima presented by Juan Carlos Gonzales Hidalgo, legal representative of the Alliance for Progress.
