Jarosław Kaczyński referred to the possibility of changing the PiS candidate in the presidential election. He explained the circumstances in which this could happen

Jarosław Kaczyński revealed when PiS would decide to change its presidential candidate.

As the “Super Express” portal recalls, last Sunday, Law and Justice announced its support for Karol Nawrocki, who will run in next year's presidential elections as a civic candidate. Journalists decided to ask Jarosław Kaczyński whether there are circumstances in which he might decide to change his candidate. The PiS chairman did not avoid answering.

Karol Nawrocki with PiS support

On Sunday, November 24, Law and Justice announced that it will support Karol Nawrocki's candidacy in next year's presidential elections. The head of the IPN assures that he is a civic candidate, and the PiS environment is just one of many that support his candidacy.

However, there is no shortage of voices that PiS may decide to change its candidate before the elections. wPolsce24 decided to ask Jarosław Kaczyński himself about this. The president denied that PiS has such a plan. “There is no intention to change the candidate,” Kaczyński said firmly.

At the same time, the PiS chairman stated that although this is an unlikely scenario, there are certain circumstances in which his party could decide to take such a step. What circumstances are we talking about?

Nawrocki's Replacement — when could this happen?

President Jarosław Kaczyński stated that the candidate could be replaced if some unexpected and tragic event occurred.

“Something would have to happen, some tragedy, something completely unforeseen. But of course we are not assuming that, there is a small chance of, God forbid, some misfortune, otherwise there will be no change” – said the president.

Kaczyński stated that Karol Nawrocki's pre-campaign is going “unexpectedly well”. As the PiS leader emphasized, the figure arouses considerable interest.
