Jabra today announced its new Elite 85t, a high-end active noise-canceling bluetooth headset. They will be available in Spain from November 2020 with a suggested retail price of 230 euros.

The Jabra Elite 85t will be available in black in November, but throughout 2021 they will also arrive in colors

The great novelty of the Elite 85T is that they have active noise cancellation, that is, they not only isolate from the outside by design but also use a microphone system to generate white noise that blocks even more sounds from outside.

This has a lot of merit considering that they are semi-open headphones, so without the noise cancellation activated, they let through a lot of ambient noise, which for some users can be a very positive thing when they go to exercise or walk down the street. .

In other words, the Elite 85Ts are designed both to block sound or to let it pass, to suit the user. It can even determine the intensity of active noise cancellation from the Jabra mobile app.

In terms of sound, Jabra has introduced a second processor in the headphones without greatly increasing their size (about 2mm wider) or weight in order to improve the sound quality of music.

The Jabra Elite 85T also differ from their predecessors, the Elite 75t, by the inclusion of 6 microphones designed to better capture the voice when calling on the phone. It also has a battery of up to 5.5 hours between the earbuds, which increases up to 25 hours using the case to recharge them with cable or with a wireless charging base.

Its predecessors, the Elite 75t, will receive a sound cancellation system through a software update, which although it will not be as effective as those of its heirs, it does so without subtracting just hours of battery (without ANC, it has 7.5 hours of use, but with it, it lasts 5.5 hours).

Jabra has been making impressive headphones for years, especially when it comes to bluetooth, and although they don't enjoy the fame of the AirPods or Sony's, they are a somewhat cheaper alternative that does not skimp on quality.
