Yacob, 34, made his professional debut at Racing Club (2006-12) and has a long history. In England he defended the colors of West Bromwich (2012-18) and Nottingham Forest (2018-20) before returning to South American soil. He had a short stint at Nacional de Uruguay (2020) and returned to Argentina, where he played for Huracán (2021) and then for Rosario Central (2022).
In his career he represented the Argentine under-20 team in the 2007 South American Championship played in Paraguay. He also in the Youth World Cup that year, where he became champion with Hugo Tocalli as coach. Furthermore, he absolutely wore the Albiceleste.
