It won't be cheap: Internet from Starlink will appear

Starlink satellite Internet will now also be available on water transport.

According to Engadget, the new service is called Starlink Maritime. Internet equipment can be installed on boats, yachts and ships.

Starlink Maritime can provide download speeds of up to 350 Mbps at sea, which is not bad for boats that did not originally have an Internet connection.

However, the service will not be cheap. The equipment alone will cost customers $10,000, and the internet itself will cost $5,000 every month.
