It became known how ready the second Mriya aircraft is.

The second An-225 “Mriya” aircraft is 70% ready. There is a fuselage and a wing – these are the main and most valuable parts of the aircraft.

The commander of the largest transport aircraft “Mriya” announced this on the air of “KYIV24” and “Ruslan” Dmytro Antonov.

This was done back in 1990, but was kept. It was intended for another aircraft.

“If the Soyuz hadn't collapsed, we would have had two planes in a few years. That was the plan, but it didn't come true. We have kept the second plane for all these 30 years, it is in good condition. And it is possible to build it. We need to finish it – do 30% of the work: equip the new plane with equipment”, – noted Antonov.
