Citizen of Ukraine Irina Koroleva became one of the victims of the attack in Jerusalem. The Times of Israel published the name of the deceased.
The woman was 59 years old, she arrived in Israel on a work visa and worked as a nurse.

BAGNET recalls that the terrorist attack in Jerusalem took place on Friday, January 27, in the Neve Yaakov area. The attacker opened fire on passers-by on the street and people leaving the synagogue “Ateret Avraham” after Friday prayers. The shooter then fled in a car.
Five minutes after the shooting, police killed the suspect during a shootout. The assailant was identified as 21-year-old Heyri Alkam from east Jerusalem, police are not aware of his possible ties with terrorists.
According to media reports, four men aged 20 to 60 and one 60-year-old woman died at the scene. Another five people were hospitalized, two of them a 30-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman – died in hospitals. Among the victims – A 15-year-old boy, a 24-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman are in a moderate condition.
This terrorist attack in Jerusalem was the worst massacre by a Palestinian in Jerusalem in the past 15 years, the Prime Minister said Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.
