Representatives of Israel and Hamas have announced their readiness to cease fire in the Gaza Strip. The Times of Israel writes about this.

“Israel has accepted the US offer for a ceasefire and hostage exchange agreement,” the Office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reported.

At the same time, the Prime Minister's Office accused Hamas of rejecting the deal and killing the hostages.

In turn, after a meeting with Qatari and Egyptian mediators in Doha, Hamas also confirmed its “readiness” to accept the ceasefire agreement proposed by US President Joe Biden in May.

BAGNET recalls that in August, the IDF killed senior Hamas commander in Lebanon Samer Mahmoud al-Hajj, who was responsible for launches of shells from Lebanon towards Israeli territory.
