Details

US intelligence does not have reliable evidence of the use of Iranian drones in Ukraine. However, she knows that they are ready for operation. Data on the transfer of drones by Tehran to the invaders, contrary to the requirements of the United States, were made public at a time when Brussels and Washington began to take steps to revive the Iranian nuclear agreement, concluded in 2015. The document provides for the lifting of sanctions in exchange for a reduction in the nuclear program.

Position opponents of the agreement is that the lifting of sanctions will lead to increased hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, since Russia will be able to bypass the economic restrictions imposed on it with the help of Iran. In particular, the Russians will start trading oil through Iranian intermediaries. At the moment, Iran is one of the key partners of the Kremlin. Tehran is not afraid of US sanctions, as it has been living under them for 40 years.
