iPhone of the future: folding screen technology could surpass all existing models

News that Apple is developing an iPhone with a folding screen have been around for a long time, and recent reports from foreign media allow us to draw several important conclusions about the future of this device. According to sources, including The Information and The Wall Street Journal, Apple's foldable iPhone will technically outperform all other foldable phones currently on the market.

What's known about the new product

This new iPhone is likely to have a design similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z series. Apple plans to use a panel provided by Samsung Display, with which the company already has an exclusive supply agreement. Samsung's experience in manufacturing foldable OLED panels will play an important role in the development of this new device, as Samsung is already a leader in the foldable phone market. But at the same time, Apple's foldable iPhone will feature a stronger screen and unusual folding processing, which will make it more practical and reliable compared to current models on the market.

However, despite these technical advantages, foreign media have expressed doubts about Apple's annual production target of 15 to 20 million units, considering this figure too optimistic. Production of the foldable iPhone is expected to begin in 2026, and it is believed that its release may take place in the same year. However, the question of whether Apple will be able to surprise everyone with a truly unique foldable phone and meet sales expectations remains open.
