iPhone 18 Pro in 2026 will get up to 2 TB of memory

As the presentation of the iPhone 16 approaches, which will take place in about six weeks, discussions about the next-generation iPhone 17 are becoming more and more intense. In particular, the iPhone 17 Slim model will have the highest starting price among all iPhones. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that the design of the phone will have to convince consumers, as the rumors about its specifications are not particularly impressive.

According to a new report, Apple plans to implement Quad-Level-Cell (QLC) Universal Flash technology Storage, which will allow iPhone 18 Pro models to have up to 2 TB of memory. iPhones currently use Triple-Level-Cell (TLC) chips, but the new QLC storage is 33% denser, providing more capacity without increasing size.

Chinese manufacturers also plan to switch to QLC from the fourth quarter of this year . However, Apple does not intend to use this technology in the iPhone 16, leaving it for future models.
