Solar panel presented with the highest efficiency on the market

At the Intersolar Munich 2024 exhibition, the Aiko Solar company announced a solar panel, which it positions as an effective solution among serial models of this type. During the presentation, the manufacturer talked about the efficiency of the upcoming new product and its other characteristics.

The Comet Generation 3 solar panel (3N72e), according to the specification, will be produced in several versions with different output power (from 625 to 650 W) and with an efficiency indicator from 24.2% to 25.2%. The size of the novelties will be 2278 x 1134 x 30 mm, weight – 27 kg, “empty” voltage – from 54.49 V to 54.99 V at an operating maximum of 1500 V. In addition, a temperature coefficient of 0.26%/°C and a short-circuit current of 14.60 A to 15.00 A are claimed.

New products will be made of tempered glass 3.2 mm thick with anti-glare coating and IP68 protection. They can be used outdoors at air temperatures from -40 °C to +85 °C. The conductors connecting the solar cells are located on the back of the module and are made of copper (ABC technology). It is also known that the silicon cells overlap each other by 0.3 mm, which increases the working area by 0.5% and increases the amount of light collected by 1.1%.

The list of features of the panels includes 30 – one-year guarantee on the reduction of efficiency: a loss of 1% in the first year of operation and a minimum of 88.85% of the nominal value after 30 years of operation is declared. The novelties will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2024, their price has not yet been announced.
