Introducing a top-of-the-line Android smartphone with a camera button like the iPhone 16

Oppo officially presented the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro – “the most advanced flagships” of the company. They have top-notch displays and cameras, powerful iron, AI functions, and in the “powder” they installed their analogue Camera Control from Apple.

Characteristics of OPPO Find X8 Pro:

Other features include IP68 (Find X8) and IP69 (Find X8 Pro) water and dust protection, an underscreen fingerprint scanner, and support for 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. Both models run on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.

In China, the Oppo Find X8 and X8 Pro are priced at 4,199 and 5,299 yuan respectively (about $600 and $750). Sales of new products on the Chinese market will begin on October 30, and then international deliveries should start.

Oppo – is not the only Chinese company that decided to copy the main “feature” of the iPhone 16. Right after the presentation of the iPhone 16, the Realme brand showed a prototype of the new product with a similar control element in the same place.

Judging by the feedback of users and journalists, most are excited about the new button in the iPhone 16 and its capabilities. In particular, the editor of 9to5Google is surprised that Google, Samsung or anyone else hasn't come up with something similar over the years.

According to rumors, Apple will continue to add new buttons to the body of its smartphones to emphasize the differences of new models . So, in the iPhone 17 line, the new button will replace the Action Button and the volume rocker.
