A 58-year-old entrepreneur received a call from an unknown person who introduced himself as the manager of an agricultural company that sells fertilizers for agricultural needs. The man was offered to buy the goods, and to be convincing, they even sent documents confirming the authenticity of the products and a sales contract.
The buyer transferred 240 thousand for an order of ammonium sulfate and ammonium nitrate. However, as you might have guessed, the entrepreneur did not receive any fertilizers or money as a result.
When the man realized that he had been scammed, he contacted law enforcement.
Before making any transactions, check all the information. Do not order goods from unverified online resources so as not to fall for the scammers' hook.
