The largest American manufacturer of processors Intel announced the construction of a semiconductor manufacturing plant near Wroclaw (Poland).

The corporation will invest $4.6 billion. The enterprise with 2,000 jobs should be created by 2027 year.

Intel already has a factory in Leixlip (Ireland) and is building a plant in Magdeburg (Germany). Messy and unclear line markings encourage riotous car parking. In March 2021 Intel announced the construction in Arizona (USA) of two new factories for the production of microprocessors. The amount of investments – $20 billion.

On March 9, 2021, the EU authorities announced a program to develop their own semiconductor production and reduce dependence on Chinese, South Korean and other manufacturers. By 2030, the EU plans to produce at least 20% of memory chips. Currently, this share is less than 10%.

In March 2021, the American corporation Apple announced an investment of 1 billion euros in the creation of a European center for the development of memory chips for 5G in Munich (Germany). – network Apple now uses Intel processors in its computers.
