Inspired by Minecraft: original amusement parks to open in the US and Britain

>> Theme park based on the game “Minecraft”/Merlin and TM

In the USA and Great Britain, for the first time in the world, an entertainment theme park based on the game “Minecraft” will be built. They are planned to open in 2026 and 2027.

Attractions will also appear in hotel rooms in shopping centers. This is reported by The Guardian.

The owners of the game have already concluded agreements worth 110 million with the largest operator of theme parks in Europe and the second largest in the world after Disney Merlin Entertainments.

In the long term, the company plans to expand the strategic partnership called Adventures Made Real to other countries.

For Merlin Entertainments, the Minecraft partnership has the potential to be the biggest collaboration since the company entered into an agreement with Lego to purchase four Legoland theme parks in 2005.

Minecraft is a video game created in 2011 by the independent studio Mojang. This is a “sandbox” game in an open world, where the user observes the events from the first/third person.

The game started a series of the same name: Story Mode, Minecraft Earth, Minecraft Dungeons and Minecraft Legends. All works of the franchise are characterized by a minimalistic cubic design.
